Postponed to May31st – June 1st 2022
Dear participants,
the pandemic has assumed a dubious dynamic. After an intensive coordination process, we had to decide today with a heavy heart to move the FC³ Fuel Cell Conference Chemnitz from November 23rd and 24th, 2021 to summer 2022.
According to current knowledge, the overload level in the Free State of Saxony will be reached by the middle of this week (see http://www.coronavirus.sachsen.de/). The resulting measures drastically limit the number of participants and make the conference practically impracticable. This prospect as well as compliance with all current requirements would result in an event that neither we nor our guests want.
The new date of the event is 05-31-2022 – 06-01-2022. The place and procedure remain the same. All tickets remain valid. The waiting list places also remain. As soon as it is foreseeable that we will be able to allow a higher number of participants, they will automatically move up. We will inform you promptly about the new program. If you unfortunately cannot take part in the event, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will find a solution.

Clean Drives. Efficiently produced.
Following the successful first event in 2019 we cordially invite you to the second FC³ Fuel Cell Conference Chemnitz 2021!
Fuel cell technology, as an efficient and CO2-neutral vehicle propulsion system, has been given a boost with the production vehicles from Hyundai, Toyota and Honda. Fuel cell hydrogen fueling meets modern mobility demands for low emissions and long ranges with short refueling times. For the nationwide breakthrough, there is a lack of infrastructure for hydrogen supply. In addition, reducing the currently high production and material costs are the biggest challenges that need to be addressed.
With the motto “Clean drives. Efficiently produced.”, the conference focuses on the aspects of fuel cells that are suitable for series production and their hydrogen powertrain, as well as efficient production using state-of-the-art production processes.
The conference is organized by HZwo and the Fraunhofer-Institute for Machine Tools and Forming Technology IWU and takes place at Carlowitz Congresscenter in Chemnitz. It appeals to scientists and engineers to discuss the latest trends and developments in research and industrial applications.
