pomodoi GmbH was founded as a highly innovative high-tech start-up in January 2022 and is oriented on process- and hardware-technology. We set out to revolutionize the coating and thus the functionialization of individual particle surfaces from powder-like materials. Such customized new materials are interesting for a wide variety of sectors, including research and development as well as powder industries. In the field of fuel cells and hydrogen production, there are opportunities to solve current challenges based on new powder materials – for example in innovative PEM fuel cells and PEM electrolyzer designs, in which the catalyst material is applied directly to the individual particles to improve the effective porous structures of a layer within a cell. Such CCMs (Catalyst Coated Membrane) would consume a minimum of material (e.g. Pt or Ir) – at highest cell efficiency. While we see ourselves as a young and dynamic company, at the same time we can build upon many years of experience. Thanks to our team of scientists, engineers and business developers that have been working in the field of industry-related R&D, we bring together all the knowledge necessary for such a great enterprise.
