FAE Elektrotechnik GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1992. What began as a 2-person enterprise has grown into a company with more than 140 employees at 2 locations today. Around 30 years of experience in the field of energy supply for buildings, as well as intelligent networking of local infrastructure characterize our daily activities.

In order to make a contribution to the sustainable use of existing resources, we are developing efficient energy supply systems with hydrogen fuel cells. At our headquarters, a modern laboratory area and manufacturing capacities have been set up especially for this purpose. We can offer our know-how from basic design, through design of individual components, to hardware and software implementation of complex controls and energy management systems.

In 2017, as part of the largest Central German agricultural fair “agra”, we were awarded the Forestry Innovation Prize, which was awarded for the first time. The focus was on our innovative products for the decentralized provision of electrical energy in environmentally critical areas.

COMPETENCES AND PRIMARY ACTIVITIES :

• development, manufacturing and retail of stationary and semi-stationary fuel cell systems (PEM/H2) in the power range from 5 kW
• efficient fuel cell systems with the possibility of combined heat and power generation
• hard and software development of compact control solutions for the regulation of fuel cell systems maintenance and service for electrical installations and fuel cell systems
