Not only the layer thickness, but also the elemental composition can be determined with a Glow Discharge Spectrometer (GD-OES). Many devices can be used not only for Macroscopic Analyses, but also for the Micro and Nano World – often non-destructive, a considerable advantage over other analytical methods.
