Hydrogen Days 2026: „Hydrogen at the Crossroads: Courage to Continue“
Hydrogen Days 2026 marks the 16th edition of this established European conference, bringing together experts from research, industry and public institutions to discuss the latest developments across the hydrogen sector. Over the years, the event has become a key platform for exchange, collaboration and forward-looking dialogue.
Despite recent project cancellations, the hydrogen sector continues to evolve. Electrolyzer capacities are expanding, pilot and demonstration projects are advancing, and important regulatory frameworks are taking shape at national and European levels. These developments underline hydrogen’s strategic role in diversifying energy systems, strengthening resilience and enabling climate-friendly technologies.
At the same time, the sector is facing challenges: regulatory complexity, high costs and slower-than-expected market ramp-up. Under the theme “Hydrogen at the Crossroads: Courage to Continue,” the 2026 conference will address these realities openly and constructively—highlighting practical solutions, financing models, value chain development and real-world implementation.
Hydrogen Days 2026 will take place in Prague in March 2026. As part of the programme, HZwo will host an Industry Session on 12 March 2026, providing a dedicated platform for companies to discuss market perspectives, business models and cross-border cooperation.
