With the knowledge inside Nafion™ membranes and dispersions, we help customers create clean hydrogen from water electrolysis enabling the hydrogen economy. We are committed to advancing the electrolysis technology to reduce cost of ownership without sacrificing the reliability the industry expects from Nafion™ membranes and dispersions.

Through its European legal entities, Chemours’ contribution in the Clean Hydrogen Alliance will be about the robust supply capabilities of PEM water electrolysis membranes and ionomeric dispersions. Chemours operates at scale the full supply chain in the Nafion™ ion exchange products from monomer to polymer to membrane and dispersion enabling the Green Hydrogen Gas Producers and the PEM Water Electrolyser Manufacturers to technically and competitively answer some of the challenges set by the European Commission for using a cleaner supply chain and producing cleaner hydrogen at large scale.

Nafion™ membranes and dispersions are at the heart of a new generation of fuel cells offering a clean energy source to power anything that moves, ranging from automobiles, buses, forklifts, boats, planes to spacecraft, and stationary applications. The industry can count on Chemours to meet growing long-term demands, contributing to the European hydrogen strategy for a climate-neutral Europe.
